The Love Story

In the beautiful city of Buda there is a stunning neighborhood called Ruby Ranch where  “The Love Family”  stumbled across a fixer-upper on Story Drive. They call this “The Love Story”.

Mrs.Love is an amazing woman, hard working business owner, dedicated mother and wife who loves challenges!  Because let's be honest… With the busiest time of the year for her business AND doing a MASSIVE remodel with moving on top of that…. It could be her biggest challenge yet!

We were thrilled that The Loves reached out to Blue Label Granite to help with this extensive project.  Blue Label Granite installed the countertops in the kitchen, (3) bathrooms, laundry room and tub surround; we also did the tile backsplash in the kitchen, guest bathroom and in the walk in shower!

“My favorite part about this project was being able to have the freedom to select which quartz/marble should go where, what tile would look best with the countertops and what fixtures would tie the overall project together. Mrs.Love trusted me to design each room, and it was SO much fun! The master bathroom is my proudest work!”

                                                                                          Abbie Fenton (Co-Owner)

In the Kitchen we cut down the raise bar and made it all cabinet height!  This makes the whole kitchen feel so much more open and modern!  We paired our in-stock Fantasy Brown (hard marble) with white 4x12 subway tile and stainless steel trim to tie in the light fixtures, cabinet pulls and the 11” deep, stainless steel, single bowl sink!

With the Guest Bathroom we followed the same look as the kitchen but with the 4x12 tile we went all the way up to the ceiling, giving the bathroom a classy finish. We did a vessel porcelain sink with a waterfall style faucet. Not only did the vessel sink save The Loves money, but it gives the bathroom a unique design.

The Boys Bathroom we used our in-stock white quartz, Crystal Ice. Engineered quartz is low-maintenance, stain resistant and scratch resistant so the Love Boys can still be a little rough! We decided to spend a little extra to get the brilliance stainless finish on the faucets and fixtures in the bathroom.

In the laundry room we used the Crystal Ice quartz again.  We decided to do a stainless steel 8” deep undermount sink in lieu of an over mount sink. Undermount sinks a little more room for the countertops and of course they always looks cleaner!

And finally, the Master Bathroom! This was our favorite to design!  For the countertops we used the in-stock Fantasy Brown, paired with vessel sinks and waterfall faucets. For the bathtub surround we used Fantasy Brown as well, this created a solid look, with no grout lines! We tiled 12” high around the tub with the 4x12 white subway tile, then used Fantasy Brown for the window sills. We went with the 60” by 60” corner soaker tub to maximize our space! This gives plenty of room for soaps and candles on the outer part on the tub and lots of room to relax inside the tub! In the shower we used the same 4x12 tile extending all the way up the wall. We also added a holder for Shampoo and Conditioner. For a spa finish, we selected Cultura Pebble Grey Mosaic tile for the shower floor. We utilized the same pebble mosaic from the floor to accent the shower niche! Simply beautiful!

The Love Story is complete. Fresh new paint, landscaping, carpet, tile and countertops;  a complete remodel finished in just a few weeks!
